Yuvraj Singh
2011 ICC Cricket World Cup Player of the Tournament; cancer survivor.
Yuvraj Singh is a former Indian all-rounder and one of the most decorated limited-overs cricketers of his generation. He was Player of the Tournament at the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup - India's second World Cup win - and famously hit Stuart Broad for six sixes in an over at the 2007 T20 World Cup, which India also won.
He was diagnosed with a rare germ-cell tumour shortly after the 2011 World Cup - during which he had been unwell - underwent chemotherapy in the United States, and returned to international cricket. He later founded YouWeCan, a cancer-awareness and research foundation focused on India.
Yuvraj's stage sessions are built around his cancer recovery, the mental game of comeback after illness, and using the platform of elite sport for public health advocacy.
