Vikrant Massey
Leading actor of new-wave Hindi cinema; the lead of 12th Fail.
Vikrant Massey is a Hindi actor whose career moved from television - Balika Vadhu, Qubool Hai - into cinema and streaming. His film work includes A Death in the Gunj, Chhapaak, Haseen Dillruba and its sequel, and Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 12th Fail (2023), in which he played IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma.
He has featured across streaming in Mirzapur, Broken But Beautiful, and The Sabarmati Report. 12th Fail brought him widespread industry recognition, including the Filmfare Best Actor award, and reframed him as a leading man for grounded, process-first stories.
Massey speaks on the long early-television climb, the grammar of quiet Hindi cinema, and the work of carrying a nationally-emotional story without overplaying it.
