Ghazal Alagh is a co-founder of Mamaearth and of Honasa Consumer, its parent company, which she co-founded in 2016 with her husband Varun Alagh. Under their leadership Honasa Consumer has become one of India's largest natural personal-care platforms, with brands including Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, Bblunt, and Dr. Sheth's.

The company went public on Indian stock exchanges in 2023, making her one of the best-known women founders in Indian consumer-brand building. She has been a judge on Shark Tank India, where she typically evaluates consumer-brand pitches.
