Kargil War veteran - among the first Indian women officers on active duty during the 1999 conflict.

Captain Yashika Hatwal Tyagi is a former Indian Army officer and Kargil War veteran. Commissioned into the Army Ordnance Corps, she was deployed forward during the 1999 Kargil conflict and is recognised among the earliest Indian women officers to have served on active duty during the war.
