Amish Tripathi

Amish Tripathi is an Indian author whose Shiva Trilogy (The Immortals of Meluha, The Secret of the Nagas, The Oath of the Vayuputras) became one of the fastest-selling book series in Indian publishing. His follow-up Ram Chandra Series re-tells the Ramayana through multiple narrators and continues to sell widely.

A graduate of IIM Calcutta, Amish worked in financial services before turning to writing full-time. From 2019 to 2023 he served as director of the Nehru Centre in London, the cultural wing of the High Commission of India. He is also the author of non-fiction titles including Immortal India and Dharma.

He speaks on Indian mythology and its modern relevance, the craft of long-form fiction, and India's cultural soft power.
